• I worked along side a team of Graphic Designers until i was trained to the highest of standards, and was then given a chance to design adverts for important clients and help design publications.

• After only a few months of working at Waltons Publications, i had proved to my team and my boss what i was capable of doing and was given a chance to work along side a web/flash designer. I then went onto updating a daily website and help create flash/static animated banners.

• Unfortunately, due to financial reasons, the website i was updating had to be shut down, meaning i had to move back onto the Graphic side of things. Fortunately for me, a Graphic Designer had found a new job leaving a vacency open. I took over the role as the Graphic Designer and my main roles was to continue desigingn magazine page spreads, publish a monthly business magazine aswell as help design many other publications, design adverts for big clients and to help our Web Designer create awesome looking websites. As much as i loved doing this, what i relly wanted to be doing full time was focusing my attention on designing and creating websites. I just enjoyed it more and i found that with Web Design, i could put my personality into a clients site and make a page say alot more rather than looking at a page spread that is static.

• After teaching myself Web Design out of hours and doing a night course at college, i started looking for a job as a trainee Web Designer in a web based environment where they could teach me everything i needed to know to become a great Designer. I found a job advertised on Laser Reds website and everything they asked for in a designer, i had so i thought this could be my big break. After proving to them what i am capable of and passing some tests, i got the dream job. I am now under the wing of an awesome designer and developer, teaching me everything he knows.
